A change in plans have occurred for the Interstate near Beloit. According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation news release, due to unforeseen circumstances, the I-39/90 northbound ramp to Highway 81 in Beloit will be closed until 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Drivers will need to continue using a signed detour route from I-39/90 north to I-43 north and exit at Hart Road to proceed onto Highway 81 into Beloit. The closure is necessary while crews complete carryover work from the I-39/90 and I-43 interchange project. The work operations and ramp closure are weather dependent and subject to change.
