
A town of Rock shooting suspect has his bail reduced from $250,000 to $50,000 in Rock County Court.
Rock County Sheriff’s Detective Charles Cowan testified during Marcus Range’s preliminary hearing Monday afternoon on charges of attempted first degree intentional homicide and nine counts of first degree recklessly endangering safety.
Cowan testified that the victim identified Marcus Range as one of the shooters in the incident on May 8th at the Rockvale Mobile Home Park.
According to the criminal complaint, Range and two other men fired no less than 75 rounds at a man sitting in a vehicle on the 6200 block of South Highway 51. Multiple trailers were struck by gunfire.
Court Commissioner Stephen Meyer bound Range over for trial. His arraignment is set for Friday at 3:00 p.m.
