The Mercyhealth Development Foundation is now accepting grant applications for the 2022 Autism Support Fund.

Director Jennifer Johns says funds help those who live with or care for children with autism by helping pay for things that insurance doesn’t typically cover including therapies or pieces of equipment that help make homes more comfortable.

Johns says that if people want to donate to the Autism Support Fund, they can do so by going to the Mercyhealth Development Foundation web page.

Applications are being taken now through July 31st and that applicants must present documentation of a verified diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder.
