The City of Janesville has started the next cycle of lead service line replacement in multiple locations throughout the City.
Water Utility Superintendent Craig Theisenhusen says this cycle will see East Centerway closed to through traffic from Milton avenue to Parkers drive, but will still be open to local traffic for people who live on those streets.
Theisenhusen says the project is going very well and that the lead service line replacement is scheduled to be done the week of September 19th, after which the restoration work will need to be done.
Theisenhusen says residents may see temporary water service interruptions while work is completed, but they will be alerted beforehand.
