Janesville City Council members are expressing concerns about the proposed price tag of the new Woodman’s Sports and Convention Center.
Council member Michael Jackson says he’s wavering on his support of the project and that after the cost increases it has impacted the project in a negative way and he’s waiting for the next shoe to drop.
Council Vice President Dave Marshick said he still supports the project, but not at the estimated cost, and he warned against cutting so much out of the project that it no longer becomes an attractive idea.
The City Council met Tuesday afternoon for a special meeting at City Hall.
