A local non-profit appears to be embracing the Art Infusion event in Janesville.

HealthNet of Rock County is dressing up it’s new clinic on South Franklin Street in Janesville with a mural.

CEO Ian Hedges says Madison artist Amy Zaremba has been hired to paint a mural for Art Infusion.

Zaremba’s work will feature flowers and plant life that exist in Southern Wisconsin and have a medicinal purpose in traditional and homeopathic medicine. Overlaying these floral elements will be people that represent different ages, genders, colors, and abilities of HealthNet of Rock County patients.

Work will begin on the new mural on September 2nd.
