Teachers in Janesville will have the opportunity to learn about the services the Hedberg Library provides at an open house (Tuesday) evening.
Head of Youth Services Elizabeth Matson says the event can be extra helpful to new teachers or teachers new to the Janesville area by showing what resources and tech are available at the library.
Teachers will also get access to the Janesville and Wisconsin rooms, where they can find local and regional history sources for school use.
Matson says the event is to show appreciation for teachers but also to show them services the library provides and that teachers will be able to sign up for a teacher’s library card that will allow them to check out materials for longer periods of time.
The open house takes place from 4:00 to 6:00pm (Tuesday) throughout the library.
