The City of Janesville is seeking volunteers to help put on their yearly Enchanted Forest and Hollywood Hayride event.

Recreation Director Shelly Slapak says they’ll need 50 volunteers for each night of the event to either be a volunteer actor along the hayride, or to dress up and hand out candy and trinkets to those attending in the forest.

Slapak says they provide the costumes, the sets, the candy, and the scripts for those acting out scenes. Those interested in volunteering can visit janesvillewi.gov/recreation.

The event takes place October 12th through the 15th from 5:30 to 8:00 each night.
