A 34-year old Beloit woman appears in Rock County court on charges after stabbing another woman last spring.
Britney Ford appeared in front of Judge John Wood Thursday afternoon where she plead guilty to a 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety.
Two other counts, one of substantial battery and another of disorderly conduct, were read in but dismissed.
Ford was sentenced to serve 90 days in the Rock County Jail.
Beloit Police responded to the intersection of Elm Street and Roosevelt Avenue in March where a 47-year-old woman had suffered a stab wound to the arm.
Wood noted the severity of the crime, but with the defendant’s lack of a criminal record he felt the jail time was appropriate.
