Grinnell Hall Senior Center in Beloit continues a long legacy of being a meeting place for veterans.

Manager Debbie Kraus says everyone is invited to a Veterans Day program on November 11th at 10:00 a.m.

The ceremony will include posting of the colors, patriotic songs, and presentations by retired U.S. Navy Vietnam Combat Veteran David Wood, and retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant Kevin Manhart.

Grinnell Hall has a history in serving Veterans and their families. In April of 1936, Emma H. Grinnell willed $100,000 to build a Memorial Hall for patriotic organizations in loving memory of her husband, William H. Grinnell.
