Edgerton Hospital is hosting a blood drive to give people the opportunity to give back during a crucial time of the year.

Lab Manager Christine Wonders says the hospital is teaming up with the Rock River Valley Blood Center and they are a major distributor or blood to local hospitals, so those who donate will be directly helping those in the community.

Wonders says due to COVID, the number of opportunities to donate isn’t as high as it used to be, and with the holiday season approaching and more people traveling, donated blood is crucial in saving the lives of any potential accident victims.

The hospital will be hosting the drive Thursday from 1:00 until 6:00pm, and those interested can register on the hospital website.
