The Woodman’s Sports and Convention Center Design Team meets Tuesday afternoon to figure out the project’s future after deciding on a floor plan last time out.
Public Works Director Mike Payne says the team will be going over the modified floor plan that incorporates some of the cuts the team has decided on.
Payne says that construction firm Kraus-Anderson incorporated the floor plan and cuts and gave the WSCC an updated price point for the project of about $50 million.
Payne says he’s feeling good that the team’s time in conceptual development is coming to an end and they have a good idea of what they think the space will look like.
The WSCC was given an initial price tag of nearly $60 million back in August.
