The City of Evansville declares a snow emergency.

According to a news release, the snow emergency goes into effect and noon Thursday and runs until noon Friday.

During a snow emergency, no parking is permitted on either side of the City’s streets and all vehicles must be parked on private property or in designated public parking areas.

Vehicles parked in violation of the restrictions could be ticketed or towed.
