The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is going to be offering two A-T-V education courses over the coming months, and registration for the first class is now open.

Deputy Terry Borgwardt says people can complete a registration form online to reserve a seat, but it is mandatory that they attend the registration class on January 3rd.

Borgwardt says anyone born after January 1st, 1988, is required to complete one of these courses in order to legally operate an all terrain vehicle in places open to the public.

The first class will be held January 14th from 8:00am until 2:00pm, and the second class will be held in early February.

The mandatory registration and the classes are both being held at the Craig Center on the Rock County Fairgrounds.
