The town of Fulton is the latest community to benefit from a recent surge in solar development across Wisconsin.

Alliant Energy Spokesperson Tony Palese says the North Rock Solar Project is expected to generate $6 million in combined shared revenue payments over it’s life.

With nearly 120,000 solar panels spanning 473 aces, the site is generating enough electricity to power 13,000 homes.

Palese says it’s the third utility-scale solar site the company has completed this year as part of it’s clean energy blueprint.

Construction began in August 2021 and completed ahead of schedule without any recordable injuries.

Alliant Energy is now the largest owner-operator of solar generation in Wisconsin.
