The Stateline Area Transportation Study is taking a look at pair of corridors in the stateline area to see if possible improvements need to be made.
Metropolitan Planning Organization Coordinator TJ Nee says the first study will focus on Highway 81 from Highway 213 at Madison Road to Milwaukee Road in Beloit.
Nee says the second study looks at Illinois Highway 75 between Blackhawk Boulevard and Gateway Boulevard and Highway 67 in South Beloit.
Nee says they’ll be holding at public information meeting Monday night on the Wisconsin 81 study at the Beloit Public Library from 5:30 to 6:30pm, and another meeting Tuesday night on the South Beloit study from 4:30 to 5:30 at Nature at the Confluence.
Nee says if people are unable to attend, electronic files of the exhibits and an audio recording of the meetings will be available on the SLATS website.
