Janesville’s newest transportation option is set to return this summer.

Janesville City Council President Paul Benson was one of five members who voted this week to direct city staff to draft a new memorandum of understanding with the company.

The City Council will still be required to sign off on the memorandum of understanding before City staff will be able to execute it.

Between August 16th and October 31st of 2022 people took close to 6,500 rides on the Bird scooters in Janesville and traveled over 11,000 miles.
