Spongy moth populations increased dramatically in 2022, causing many home and property owners concern about their trees.
University of Wisconsin Extension – Rock County Horticulture Outreach Specialist Julie Hill says the caterpillars are voracious eaters, munching the leaves of many trees.
Hill says an upcoming webinar will discuss the spongy moth outlook for this summer, and what property owners can do to protect their trees and shrubs.
The free webinar will take place on March 8th at 6:00 p.m.
