
An eighth -grader from Marshall Middle School in Janesville is under arrest after police say they made threats.
According to a news release, the school resource officer and school administration made contact with a 14-year-old Wednesday morning after speaking to a number of witnesses who reported hearing of a threat.
The student’s locker and backpack were searched and no weapons were located.
A search warrant was later obtained for the student’s residence where officers seized four firearms and miscellaneous computer devices.
The student is currently being held at the Rock County Youth Services Center on a charge of terrorist threats.
