A Beloit child with a rare genetic disorder is granted her dream of visiting Central Florida’s theme parks.
President Kate Sample says the Sunshine Foundation makes wishes come true for children who have life-long chronic conditions spina bifida, cerebral palsy, and trauma from abuse.
Sample says since 1976, Sunshine Foundation has spread sunshine into the lives of more than 41,900 children in the United States.
Adalyn Chadwick and her family were able to stay in a cottage with a space them at Sunshine Foundation’s Dream Village while visiting the theme parks in Florida.
Sample says people can make donations to the Sunshine Foundation, or nominate a child to have their wish granted at sunshine-foundation-dot-org.
