Aptiv Inc. is partnering with Blackhawk Technical College to host a discussion Thursday evening aimed to improve inclusion for people living with disabilities.

Aptiv Inc. Marketing and Communications Director Cindy Taerud says the purpose of the event is to move forward opportunities for people with disabilities to live well in the community and break down barriers.

Taerud says the second portion of the event includes an engaging idea exchange between members of the community and those with disabilities to brainstorm ideas and solutions to increase inclusion in the region.

The event takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 Thursday at Blackhawk’s Conference Center Room.
