The Janesville Police Department’s Coffee with the Chief program will be making a return Tuesday morning.

Police Chief David Moore says this is an opportunity for citizens to have face to face meetings with members of law enforcement and express any concerns they may have about what is going on in the community.

Moore says sometimes people feel more comfortable making a service call over the phone, but they’ve found that sometimes the best conversations come when they’re able to meet the public out in the community.

Moore says he hopes to have a couple more of these events before his retirement this fall.

Moore and fellow members of the Janesville PD will be at Havana Coffee from 9 until 10:30 Tuesday morning.
