The Autism Support Fund through the MercyHealth Development Foundation is now accepting grant applications for their third quarter grant cycle.
Director Jennifer Johns says the funds offer financial assistance for families who live with or care for children with autism and applications and the necessary paperwork are due by the end of the month.
Johns says they’ve seen the money used for a variety of things, including sensory equipment, lessons for karate or instruments, or technology such as iPads or applications which help with education.
Johns says people can apply by visiting the MercyHealth website.
