God is Faithful Temporary Shelter (GIFTS), a faith-based organization which provides housing and resources to men experiencing homelessness, began to partner with SSM Health through its Mini Grant Program last year.  

On Tuesday, July 18, GIFTS representatives presented SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital – Janesville, 3400 E. Racine St.,  to thank the organization for its support of the grant’s art therapy program, and to present a special gift. 

A beautiful bench, crafted by men who have participated in art therapy and its newly-created woodworking class, will be dedicated and placed in the Healing Garden for patients, visitors and SSM Health staff to enjoy. 

 In addition to presenting the bench, GIFTS will make exciting announcement: the organization’s first art show will be taking place this fall at the Janesville Performing Arts Center.
