Microtransit may be coming to the City of Beloit, but not before they get the public’s feedback on the idea.
Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Lock says micro-transit is a demand-response transportation option for short, local trips, which uses smaller vehicles than traditional buses such as cutaway vans.
Lock says informational and feedback sessions will be Monday from 7am to 9am at the Beloit Transfer Facility and Piggly Wiggly, and from 4pm to 6pm and the Beloit Public Library.
Lock says if people can’t attend the meetings, they can offer feedback or get more info by visiting the Beloit Transit website.
