The City of Janesville is turning to citizens to help update the comprehensive plan.

Associate Planner David Salmon says as part of that process, the City wants to hear from members of the business community and the public about economic development in Janesville.

Salmon says the city wants to know how it can support economic growth, what workers need to succeed, and what Janesville can do to improve the quality of life for residents.

A public meeting will take place on Thursday, August 3rd from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Hedberg Public Library.

The comprehensive plan is updated every ten years to help best guide the City Council and staff in decision-making during the planning process.
