The pediatrics team at SSM Health Janesville East is hosting a diaper drive during the month of August.

Spokesperson Erica Mathis says they know newborn babies use on average ten diapers a day, and with an increase in the costs of just about everything this would be a great way to help new families.

Mathis says people can donate new and unopened diaper packs at the SSM Health Janesville Campus entrance, near SSM Health Davis Duehr Dean optical, or the SSM Health Dean Medical groups in Edgerton and Evansville.

Mathis says the diapers will then be given away at the Rock County Community Baby Shower on September 14th.
