Patrons of the Milton Public Library may notice some upgrades and new features to the Story Garden Area.
Director Ashlee Kunkel says they expanded the building in 2017, but didn’t want to stop there and decided to make use of the green outdoor space where people can explore pollinators and flowers while enjoying amenities from the library.
Kunkel says the upgrades include a 20 foot by 20 foot gazebo, a .8 mile long walkway around the perimeter, concrete checker and chess tables, art pieces, raised garden beds, and a Story Walk Station.
Kunkel says even though the renovations are ongoing, the space is still usable to those using the library.
