Efforts to increase enrollment at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater at Rock County appear to be paying off.

Executive Director of Marketing and Communications Jeff Angileri says there was a 17.7 percent increase in students to 698.

This represents the first increase in enrollment on the campus since 2018, and makes it the largest branch campus in Wisconsin.

Angileri says the new collaborative nursing degree and flexible bachelors degree drew more students to campus.

Enrollment at the Whitewater campus is up 2.6 percent over last year.
