A 59-year-old Marquette County man is arrested for drunken driving for the fifth time in Beloit.

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says shortly after 1:00 Sunday morning a deputy made contact with a man who was at Beckman Mill Park after hours.

The suspect, who was identified as James Gritzmaker of Packwaukee, displayed signs of impairment and was taken into custody.

Department of Transportation records show Gritzmaker has four prior operating while intoxicated convictions.

Gritzmaker is expected to appear in Rock County Court Monday afternoon.
