Area school districts want feed from local businesses which will impact 2024 grant funding.

Janesville School District College Career and Tech Ed Coordinator Chris Maedke says the Carl Perkins Career and Tech Education grant assists in the development and improvement of current tech ed programming within the districts.

Maedke says getting the feedback is crucial because they’re training kids who will eventually fill the workforce, and they want to make sure the students are better prepared for the next steps once they leave high school.

The Milton and Edgerton School Districts are also asking businesses in their districts to offer their input and businesses can reach out to the districts so they can get access to the survey.
