Beloit police are investigating a shooting on the city’s east side.  Officers were called to the 1500 block of Porter Avenue a little after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday on a report of a person with a gunshot wound.  Police confirm in a Facebook post, the person shot was a juvenile.  Police say the shooting does not appear to be a random act of violence.  The victim’s injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
