Lick-or-Treat

Join us for a spooky day of kid and dog-friendly fun! This event is FREE, but if you’d like to donate – we suggest a $5 donation. Start your Halloween afternoon with some trick-or-trunk style trick-or-treating around the shelter’s parking lot. HSSW staff, volunteers, and fellow community members will have their trunks decorated for the holiday and treats will be available for children and canines alike! Costumes welcome and encouraged! Howl at the Moon Luminary Walk

Join HSSW on Friday, November 14th, between the hours of 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM for a night-time lighted walk on our trails! This event is free to the public! We will have hot cocoa and sweets available for purchase and raffle baskets to be won as well. And of course, donations are always welcome as are well-mannered and leashed dogs....

Photos With Santa

Bring out the family (your four-legged family members too!) and have professional photos taken by a local professional photographer in the lovely K&W Greenery greenhouse! Santa will be available for photos, or choose to include just your family! Either way, portraits are just $20—a GREAT deal for you and a GREAT way to help out our pets still searching for their forever homes this holiday season.
