The Janesville Police Department uses its electronics sniffing pooch to help arrest a man police say is a stalker.
Police say they arrested Shawn Ross over the weekend after a month-long investigation into domestic stalking of person.
Authorities say patrol, street crimes and investigations officers teamed up with the Rock County District Attorney to haul in Ross.
Police apparently are now combing through a mound of evidence from items they collected while searching Ross’s home Saturday.
Police did not give details in the case. But they say Janesville police’s new Electronic Detection dog, Maui, helped police find electronics they say show evidence that Ross was stalking a person.
Ross was slated to appear in Rock County Court Tuesday.
An investigation continues.
