Various street resurfacing operations will take place throughout Janesville starting Monday.

The most visible project will be along a stretch of Main Street from Racine Street to the Janesville Ice Arena. That project will detour a city bus route, and the city expects work to run through Wednesday.

Other roads that will be resurfaced include Johnson Street on the near west side; King Street, Joliet Street and Lafayette Street on the south side; and Pontiac Place on the east side.
