The owners of the Diamond Center purchase the former Varsity Lanes in Milton and transform it in honor of a 2022 Milton High School graduate who died tragically in May.

According to an excerpt from the Milton Area Chamber of Commerce newsletter, Riley Nilo was an honors student and skilled athlete for the Milton High School wrestling team who struggled with mental illness.

In the wake of his passing, the Yeko family purchased the old bowling alley at 450 South John Paul Road with the goal of turning it into a wrestling training facility with a focus on emotional support.

The Riley Nilo Training Center will feature four competition wrestling mats, batting cages, a pro shop, and concession area.

A grand opening is planned for Saturday, January 4th at 2:00 p.m.
