Plans are in the works to renovate Winther and Heide halls at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.  Dean of College of Education and Professional Studies Lana Collet-Klingenberg [[ lan-ah ]] says Winther will undergo a major upgrade.  Heide Hall’s remodel will be much more limited.  Collet-Klingenberg [[ lan-ah ]] says these renovations will improve the educational experience for the students and teachers.  The 89-million-dollar project is being funded by the state and work is set to begin in April 2026.  Students will be relocated during construction, with classes expected to resume in both buildings by spring 2029.
