Janesville Noon Rotary is giving away a dozen ears of freshly picked Seneca Sweet Corn to anyone that drives thru Traxler Park. Janesville Noon Rotary is Fun, and nothing is more fun that picking kernels of corn out of your teeth. Rotary will have Calendar Raffle Tickets available to purchase for $25. Lions Chicken Roast

The Janesville Lions Club’s 12th annual Chicken Roast will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6 in Traxler Park in downtown Janesville. Tickets are $13 in advance online or from any Lions Club member. Advance ticket holders are guaranteed a dinner anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Each dinner includes: One-half grilled chicken, baked potato, applesauce, and a roll.
