A pair of 14-year-olds are facing charges after a short police chase early Tuesday morning in Janesville. Police were called to the apartment buildings near Kiwanis Park on North Pontiac Drive a little before 12:30 a.m. for a report of individuals rummaging through vehicles. When police attempted to stop a suspect vehicle, a 15-minute car chase through the Village Green neighborhood began. It ended with the use of stop-sticks. Officers say three occupants of the vehicle fled, and two were apprehended. A 14-year-old from Janesville and a 14-year-old from Rockford were arrested on charges of resisting an officer and being an occupant in a stolen motor vehicle.  The vehicle was reported stolen in Woodstock Illinois.
