The Janesville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, city, and Forward Janesville are working together on a buy local campaign. Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Director Christine Rebout says the goal is to raise awareness about the value of investing dollars close to home. Rebout says money spent locally gets circulated and helps more residents. She expects the multi-media campaign, with a working title of “Spend Local-Stay Local” to kick off in about two-weeks.
