UW-Whitewater is working to reopen campus in the fall. University officials say planning is underway to find as safe a way as possible to have the resident halls open, and teachers in the classroom. Chancellor Dwight C. Watson says advice from faculty and staff is being sought on safety protocols, lowering classroom density, and self-protection. A virtual town hall meeting is planned for Tuesday, June 9 to discuss this decision. In addition, a website is being created to serve as a central information hub on all aspects of the return to campus.
