The City of Janesville has a new liquor store coming to the downtown. The city council Monday night approved a licence for Lark Market, which is planned for the building next to Lark Restaurant on Main Street. Lark Market is not only expected to offer wine and spirits, but also cheese, produce, breads and more. The council also voted to amend Wildwood Theater’s liquor license to allow expanded hours and permit alcohol in the center five theaters. Council members agreed movie theaters are facing economic hard times and this amended to the theaters license might help.
