A local community plans to give residents a little relief from the heat. Beloit Parks and Recreation Director Mark Edwards says it’s important for kids and families to have an opportunity to get out and stay cool. Beloit plans to open Krueger Pool beginning next week Thursday with a number of safety guidelines. Pool capacity will be limited to 50 people per one-and-a-half hour session. Patrons can only sign up for one session each day. Other safety measures include the restrooms being sanitized every half-hour, swimmers will be expected to arrive already dressed in their suits, no carry-ins, no diving or other water features, and individual family areas will be marked off to provide social distancing. The pool will only be open Thursday through Sunday.
