An anticipated shortfall in sales tax revenues will likely delay completion of an important Rock County road project. County Administrator Josh Smith says work on Highway F included reconstruction almost all the way from Highway 14 in Janesville to just south of Edgerton. Smith says the goal was to have it completed this year, but now parts funded by sales tax revenue will have to wait. He says portions funded by federal aid and borrowing will still be completed.
