A 56-year-old Janesville man faces an 8th Operating While Intoxicated Charge after being picked up early Wednesday morning.  Janesville police stopped Randy S. McDermott a little before 1:00 a.m. after observing a vehicle registered to him traveling on North Washington Street.  Officers say a check of the vehicle registration showed McDermott had a revoked driver’s license.  Police say McDermott displayed signs of intoxication and failed standard field sobriety tests.  Charges also include Operating after Revocation Due to Alcohol and a Probation Violation.  McDermott is currently in the Rock County Jail pending an initial court appearance.
