A developer is looking to build a new four-unit retail building on West Wall Street at the corner of North High Street in downtown Janesville.

Janesville Senior Planner Brian Schweigl says on Monday night the Plan Commission will consider a handful of items related to the project.

Schweigl says one of the tenant space in the proposed building is anticipated to be occupied by a food service business so the applicant is seeking approval for a drive-thru.

The site, which is currently a vacant lot is next to First Presbyterian Church and behind Crazy Joe’s Furniture.
