The West Milwaukee Street construction project passes the halfway point.

Business owner Paul Murphy says there will be a celebration on July 24th from noon until 3:30 p.m.

Murphy says several of the businesses will be donating a portion of their sales to ECHO and the Rock County Foster Care System and there will also be brat plates for sale to benefit both charities.

The street reconstruction project is expected to wrap up this fall.
