The Wisconsin Department of Community Corrections is making the public aware of a registered sex offender who recently moved to the community.

According to a news release, 60-year-old Mark A. Greenwell was convicted of first-degree sodomy and rape in Alabama in 2005 and first-degree sodomy in Alabama in 2011.

Greenwell moved to 539 South Jackson Street in Janesville on August 20th.

Greenwell is a lifetime registrant which requires him to register with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry and be placed on GPS tracking while living in Wisconsin.
