Janesville residents wouldn’t have to look far for intensive rehabilitation services if a proposed development comes to fruition.

Senior Planner Brian Schweigl says Encompass Health Corporation would like to construct a 49,000 square foot, single story, health rehab hospital on five acres of land at the corner of Kettering Street and Milton Avenue.

Schweigl says the plan is for a 40 bed facility that focuses on intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

The Janesville Plan Commission will consider a conditional use permit for the project when they meet at 6:00 Monday night at City Hall.
