A U.S. Senator from Wisconsin says hundreds of people who stormed the U.S. capital on January 6th of 2021 came in through an unlocked door.

Republican Ron Johnson says only a handful of people who were arrested after the incident had guns.

Johnson says there wasn’t adequate security at the capital that day and the responsibility should fall on Speaker Nancy Pelosi who is by and large in charge of capital security.

The Republican recently announced he’s running for a third term after previously indicating he would only serve two.
